Istanbul Program students have a unique opportunity to join professor Alex Medina (Lead Faculty for the Istanbul Signature Seminar), along with a small group of his students from Syracuse Madrid, Spain, on a unique 5-day tour of Rome, Italy. Through a combination of readings, lecturing, and most importantly, amazing guided visits to key monuments of the Eternal City, students will gain a thorough understanding of this must-see metropolis which lies at the heart of the greatest world-historical developments–from the foundation of our own city of Istanbul, to the birth and rise of Western Europe (pasta, pizza, and gelato are included).
