You will be living in an apartment/dorm-style building with SU, international, and Turkish students. The Republika Academic Apartments are located in a very convenient, popular area of Istanbul, only a short walk or shuttle ride from Bahçeşehir University. The location is convenient for internships, shopping, and other city attractions.
Services and Facilities
The apartment/dorm accommodates three students per room. The rooms are furnished with beds, a mini-refrigerator, study desks, some storage space and safe box for personal belongings. The building has 24/7 security service, wireless Internet, washing machines, a study area, game room, café/meeting areas, a fitness area, a rooftop pool, and much more.
Meals are not included, so you will need to budget accordingly.

The Republika Academic Apartments are located in Ortaköy, a dynamic, cosmopolitan neighborhood offering a wide variety of moderate to higher-end retail shopping options, a vibrant café culture, ample grocery stores and markets for food needs, and located near public transportation options (buses and ferries). The central location provides ready access to some of the most popular places for shopping and nightlife, and to the sparkling waters of the Bosporus, teeming with boats, ferries, and fishermen.
These living arrangements are ideal for getting to know Turkish and other international students studying at Bahçeşehir University. You will also enjoy getting to know your own local neighborhood cafés and markets while becoming part of a smaller community within the city.

SU Abroad participants are held accountable to Republika Academic Apartments’ housing rules and regulations as well as the Syracuse University Statement of Student Rights and Responsibilities, the Code of Student Conduct, and the SU Abroad Standards of Behavior while overseas.
