Community engagement opportunities (for intercultural learning and exchange rather than for credit) are also available. These experiences can range from part-time positions to assisting with short-term projects or one-time events, including helping refugees through a local soup kitchen or with events hosted by the U.S. Consulate.
The time requirements for a community engagement placement are determined between the student and the organization, but can range from several hours a week to a part-time position (maximum 20 hours per week).
